My School
This is a picture of me in my school uniform on my first day at my new school which is St Andrews Public School. There are a couple of things that are the same about school here like:-
* we get to play on the equipment (but they call it the adventure playground)
* we do literacy
* we get homework on a monday and we take it back to school on friday.
* we get to go on the computer.
There is also lots of things that are different like:-
* We eat our morning tea and lunch inside (and we get a piece of fruit in the afternoon just before we go home)
* We get to play three times during the day (and on Friday we get 4 plays)
* The school is all in one big building, shaped like a wing and we do most things inside (because it is really cold!)
Some girls I am friends with are Samantha, Emily, Charolette and Georgia. The boys are mostly silly. This week was science week and we got to dress up on Friday. I dressed up as a nurse. I also made mum a mothers day card with a chocolate in the middle because it is mothers day today here (Sunday 18th of March).

It sounds like your new school is very nice. I am glad to hear you have made some new friends too. Science week sounds like fun. Don't think I would like to do everything inside though - I like being out in the sunshine, even if it gets too hot sometimes here in Australia.
